The Gudenå Committee is an inter-municipal cooperation around Denmark's only river, the Gudenå. The Gudenå Committee consist of one municipal board member from each of the 7 municipalities along the river Gudenå. The Committee's focus is the use and protection of the river. Most of the Gudenå, and several lakes along the main river, are open for navigation and are well-frequented by sail and motor driven boats as well as dinghy’s, canoes and kayaks. You can find general information about navigating the Gudenå here www.sejladspaagudenaaen.dk
On this website you can purchase a guest registration number for navigation between Tørring and Klostermølle. You can also find the rules and regulations for navigation on the Gudenå and other useful information on this website.
Please familiarise yourself with the rules before you begin your trip on the Gudenå. Breaking the rules may incur a fine.
By purchasing a guest number, you obtain permission to navigate this stretch of the river in a non-motorised vessel for a limited period. Please note that the river from Tørring to Klostermølle is only open for navigation from 16th June to 31th December and only in non-motorised vessels.
